The Office of Representative Jeramey Anderson and Dr. Justin Turner of Turner Care are hosting a virtual Q&A and discussion on COVID-19 vaccines. This event will take place on Thursday, March 18, 2021, 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. CST.
Recent developments in vaccination for COVID-19 have allowed many of us to glimpse the light at the end of the tunnel. However, many questions remain particularly for those in Black & Brown communities. Please join us for a COVID-19 Vaccine Q&A on Thursday, March 18, 2021, 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. CST.
This virtual event will give constituents the opportunity to ask our expert questions about COVID-19 vaccines.

About Dr. Turner:
Justin Turner is the CEO of Turner Care, LLC and currently serves on Covid-19 Task Force for Mississippi State Medical Association and the City of Jackson.
Dr. Turner received his undergraduate degree from Jackson State University and graduated from Meharry Medical College. He completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Turner has been recognized for several awards and recognitions including 2020 Best Doctor of Jackson by Jackson Free Press; 2020 Dr. James Waites Leadership Award from Mississippi State Medical Association, 2019 Chief of Medicine of Medicine Division, St. Dominic Hospital; 2018 Best Doctor of Jackson by Jackson Free Press; 2018 Top Entrepreneur in Mississippi by Mississippi Business Journal; 2017 Doctor of Distinction from Mississippi State Medical Association; 2016 New Horizon International Community Award by New Horizon Church; 2016 Young Physician Award by MS Medical & Surgical Association; 2015 Top 50 Under 40 Business Persons in Mississippi by Mississippi Business Journal; 2014 Mississippi Health Care Hero by Mississippi Business Journal;2014 IMAGE Award in Medicine, Phi Beta Sigma Mu Sigma; 2013 Young Influential of Jackson by BOOM Jackson; and 2012 Newcomer Physician of the Year.
Dr. Turner is an active member of the local community and participates in hundreds of community service activities; including health fairs, discussion panels, outreach ministries, and mentorship. He serves as a health expert on local news and radio stations.
Dr. Turner says that he feels health can only be optimized if we understand that physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health are all interrelated and not separate entities. He believes in treating the whole person.
