Purpose

The 1st Bi-Annual GENSummit will provide students with the opportunity to address and bring forward their concerns regarding the complications experienced while participating in the voting process. The goal of this summit is to hear from students and draft solution based-legislation to ease the process for college age voters.

Target Audience

The conference is designed for current tradionally enrolled college students in Mississippi who attends one of the colleges/universities (private or public) in the state.

Location

The conference will be held at the Mississippi State Capitol, 400 High St. Jackson, MS 39201.

Registration

The conference is open to the first 100 students with registrations. Registation will be conducted from 8:30am-9am. Registration is FREE, lunch will be provided to each participant. Transportation to and from the summit along with lodging (if required) is at the expense of the student(s).
